High School Seniors
We can’t wait to meet the class of 2020.
There is life after high school, and it begins right here. You’ll find education that helps you prepare for the career that’s absolutely within your reach. Meet new people who will enrich your life in ways you never imagined. And support to help you figure it all out.
Let’s get started.
Early Application means getting a jump on your college plans and exploring grants and scholarships. You’ll wrap up your senior year worry free, knowing that you’re in control of your education and future. It’s really that simple.
Here are the highlights: 2020 high school graduates who apply and pay their tuition deposit by December 9, 2019 can receive a $500 Early Application grant and participate in the Early Application Essay Scholarship competition for a $3,000 scholarship. Planning on living in PTC housing? Be sure to submit your housing deposit on or before March 9, 2020 to get your first choice when choosing on- or off-campus apartments.
How do I apply?
Create your PTC Dashboard and apply.
Your Dashboard is an easy-to-follow enrollment center that facilitates communication between us and you, and where you can keep track of every step you need to take before starting class—from uploading transcripts to applying for financial aid and signing documents.
Everyone has questions about financial aid.
Here’s a step-by-step guide.
We’ve outlined the steps you’ll take in clear language. We know that planning for how you’ll afford your education can feel overwhelming but, once you’ve applied, you’ll be assigned a financial aid officer who’ll work with you, answer your questions, and even help you complete your paperwork if you’d like.
Take advantage of every scholarship and grant available to you.
Last year, PTC awarded over 4 million dollars in scholarships and grants, so carefully review your options. Remember that your admissions coordinator and financial aid counselor will also help you explore what you’re eligible for.
Attending a PA Career and Technical Education Center?
You may be eligible for the Pennsylvania SOAR Program
SOAR is open to graduates who successfully complete a high school CTE program at any PA Career and Technical Education Center, and meet the requirements of a secondary SOAR program.
Financial aid is available to those who qualify.
Set a date to visit us.
There’s nothing like setting foot on campus, meeting one-on-one with admissions and faculty, taking a tour, and checking out the energy in our hallways. We also offer on- and off-campus housing, and it’s amazing. You’ll find apartment-style housing but there’s one thing you won’t find, and that’s depressing, cinder-block rooms. When you visit, you’ll take a tour of housing to see just how comfortable living here can be.
