Reentering Students
PTC encourages students who have withdrawn from an academic program to reapply to complete their studies and successfully graduate. To apply for reentry, click on the Application Portal button below.
Reentry tuition
Reentering students are charged tuition and fees at the current published tuition and fee rate at the time of reentry into PTC. Estimated books, supplies and housing, (if applicable), are included in the student’s financial aid package in addition to tuition and fees.
Changing from a degree program to a certificate program
Students reentering into a certificate program, who previously attended a degree program, will only receive credit for classes that are transferable and completed successfully. There will be no tuition credit given for classes that do not transfer into the certificate program. As a reentering student you must pay for necessary books and supplies.
SAP and Academic probation
When you request to return to the college, your academic standing will be reviewed, and you will be contacted by the Academic Advisor with any next steps that you would need to take to reenter. These steps may include the completion of an Academic Plan, SAP Appeal, or finding an alternative source of payment if you are found to be on Permanent Financial Aid Suspension. Students must comply with the requirements of Satisfactory Academic Progress on a quarter-by-quarter basis. Once you have reestablished your Satisfactory Academic Progress to allowable levels, you may apply for Federal Student Aid.
