How Tuition Costs Are Calculated
Per-Credit Charge Official Tuition
PTC utilizes a per-credit and fee structure to determine total cost. The per-credit charge will vary based on program. The tuition and fees charged will be based on the credit load carried per term. The per-credit charges by program are listed below. For additional information on program layouts and courses required, please see the PTC Catalog.

Fees
Fees for programs are charged each quarter and are based on the number of credits taken per quarter.
The quarterly fee charges are:

Books and Supplies
- Students wanting to use Federal Financial Aid to cover required course materials (including books, supplies, and equipment), will be required to sign an authorization allowing their funds to be used for this purpose.
- Students who do not wish to include course materials in their financial aid plan may choose to pay for these materials on their own.
- Pittsburgh Technical College has partnered with eCampus to supply course materials for our students. All course materials are sold through the online virtual bookstore: https://ptcollege.ecampus.com/
- Students are not required to purchase course materials from the online virtual bookstore. Students may choose to purchase from vendors of their choice, provided that the texts and supplies meet the requirements of the academic program.

A $350 housing deposit completes your housing request.
PTC student housing costs range from $2450-$2875 per student per quarter depending on occupancy and accommodation.
PTC student housing is available to students under the age of 26.

Financial aid is available to those who qualify.
