HVAC and electronics students make connections for a bright future
Our HVAC and Electronics students recently met with Johnson Controls to learn where their futures after graduation can take them.
Johnson Controls, a global diversified technology leader that offers connected building systems, services, and solutions, visited our campus in February and March and talked with current HVAC and Electronics students about internship and job opportunities. David Z., an Area Installation Manager at Johnson Controls noted, “I’m excited to partner with such a great organization. PTC provides qualified candidates that can service all of our lines of business including HVAC, Security, and Fire Alarm.”

Two PTC alumni, who currently work at Johnson Controls, attended the visit and talked with students about their journey from PTC to the company. Nate and Josh answered questions, offered a glimpse into a day in the life of a Johnson Controls’ employee, and its benefits program.
In addition to learning about Johnson Controls and the opportunities they offer, students met with the Johnson Controls representatives privately after the presentation to talk with them about electronic technician jobs and to make valuable connections.
David, a student in the School of Energy and Electronics Technology commented, “I appreciate seeing corporations come into PTC and their interest in students and programs.”
