ACCUPLACER Placement Testing
ACCUPLACER measures your skills in English, Mathematics, and Reading Comprehension. For those of you who take math in your program, your Elementary Algebra test results will help determine what math courses you need to take. For those in Associate Degree programs, your Sentence Skills score will determine the composition courses that you take. For those of you in certificate programs, your Reading Comprehension score will help us to determine if you will have difficulty understanding and working with the materials in the textbooks and tests that are part of your academic program.
Please try to do your best on these tests. You could test out of math and composition classes based on these test scores. Your Admissions Coordinator can tell you which tests you will need to take. More information on the ACCUPLACER tests, including test details and links to practice questions can be found at https://accuplacer.collegeboard.org/student/practice.
