Welding Technology
Meet the demand for skilled workers.
Choose the certificate in Welding technology path, and you’ll learn the fundamentals of Oxy fuel, SMAW, MIG, TIG, and Arc welding, with a specific focus on metallurgy. In the same lab as associate degree students, you’ll work extensively with the same electrodes used in the industry in flat, vertical, horizontal and overhead positions. You’ll learn blueprint reading and welding symbols, and prepare for industry-recognized certifications.
You can complete this program in 12 months and graduate as a technically skilled welding professional.

3” schedule 40 Pipe Qualification in the 6G position. (AWS Standards)
3rd Quarter
3/8” Structural Plate Qualifications in the 3G and 4G positions. (AWS Standards)
6” Schedule 80 Pipe Qualification in the 6G position using E6010/E7018 Uphill. (AWS Standards)
