Artificial Intelligence (AI) Workshops
In this free workshop for grades 5-9, students will participate in code.org’s “AI for Oceans” interactive on-line activity. Students will discover how robots can be trained via Artificial Intelligence (AI) to rid the ocean of pollution. Students will “train” the virtual robot to experience how a data set impacts machine learning. Plus, we’ll discuss how STEM careers can positively impact the environment.
Pittsburgh Technical College’s workshop is supported by an Environmental Education grant from the PA Department of Environmental Protection. Students will have the opportunity to complete an anonymous pre- and post-survey related to environmental careers.
