Introductory “Hour of Code” Python
CS Zero, developed by CMU’s CS Academy, introduces Python to middle schoolers. This 5-hour introduction to the CS Zero course is geared towards students who would like to give coding a try. Students will learn to write code that creates engaging graphics and simple animations.
Who: students in grades 6-8 during 2021-2022
Session #1: June 21 – 25 (Monday-Friday)
Session #2: June 28 – July 2 (Monday-Friday)
Time: 10:30-11:30am – The instructor will hold optional virtual “office hours” from 11:30 – 12:00 to provide extra help.
Location: Virtual
Cost: Free
Enrollment is limited to 20 students per session.
